 We Are going to describe the 7 Wonders~


  
Chichen Itzá is a legendary Mayan city, founded in the year 525 A.D., located in the South of Mexico. This stunning city, was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO since 1988. Their most prominent building is known as "The Castle" and it's the pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulcan, measured 25 meters high and 55.5 for each of it sides. Other important temples are the Temple of the Warriors, the Observatory or the Temple of the Thousand Columns.



Its real name is Flavian Amphitheatre. Its construction began in the year 72 A.D. by order of Vespasian and inaugurated on 80, under the leadership of Tito. It is 48 meters high, 188 meters long and 156 meters wide. Each level has 80 arches. In the Rome Coliseum, were held gladiatorial combats between beasts and some other public events. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1980.




Christ the redeeemer also knows as Chris of Corcavedo is a large statue of Christ of Nazareth ,it’s located  on the top of the hill of the Corcovedo, Standing, with open arms and looking  the city and the port of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. With 38 metres is an icon of Brazil. It was an iniciative of the Catholic Church on the occasion of the centenary of the independence of the Brazil in 1922 and was a project of the engineer Hector da Silva Castro, was not inaugurated until October 12 of 1931. The Crist Redeemer statue was done by Paul Landowski a great French sculptor



It is believed that Machu Picchu was one of the many residential homes of the first Inca emperor Pachacutec. Although its ceremonial character and some of the best buildings in the city, could be considered that it was a religious sanctuary.
It was built in the XV century, is located on a rocky outcrop coupled between the mountains Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu in Peru. UNESCO declared the area of Machu Picchu as a World Heritage since 1983.



 Was founded by the emperor Qin with the intention of uniting the different points of defense of China and create an effective barrier against the Mongolian invasion.Was built in the 4th century bC. Has a lenght of 6.700 km  and has seven provinces.The Chinese wall was named World Heritage by the UNESCO in 1987.


 Petra city,built in the 7th century bC. is a city of stone,as the city was excavated and sculpted in stone, was founded by the Edomites. In the VII century was  considered lost until the XIX century. The most known build is "The treasure",uncovered in 1812 by Johann Ludwig Burckhardt. On December 6 1985, Petra city was named World Heritage by the UNESCO.


 

The Taj Majal is the most beautiful mausoleum in the world, it is covered with white marble and decorated indifferent parts by gemsotones around the world, It is a immense mausoleum build by Shah Jahan, the 5° emperor of the fifth Muslim Mongolian. In memory of his wife, Princess Mumtaz Mahal, who died when she had her 14th son. It was between 1631 and 1648, and 20,000 people worked on it. The material was brought from all corners of India and Central Asia with the help of elephants.
